
Kate Connors
Kate is a masters qualified psychologist, executive coach, workplace mental health advisor and speaker who specialises in leadership wellbeing and workplace mental health. As the first person to serve in the role of Chief Mental Health Officer within an Australian professional services firm, she has extensive expertise in organisational wellbeing, workplace mental health and leadership sustainability and performance in partnership contexts.
Kate has 30+ years experience supporting the mental health and wellbeing of individuals, teams and organisations, and throughout this time has been advising in this area and driving thought leadership in this space. As Chief Executive Officer of an Australian employee assistance and corporate psychology provider, Kate experienced first hand the demands of executive leadership during a period of double digit annual growth and strategic aquisitions. Kate leverages this experience, along with her psychology and wellbeing subject matter expertise, to bring a unique level of empathy, understanding and impact to the coaching she provides to leaders of all levels.
Kate has supported hundreds of partners and leaders to measure, reflect upon and boost their mental health and wellbeing, from critical moments of risk, through to enhacements to individual performance in one-to-one coaching. She is passionate about the role organisations and leaders play to establish safe setting in their teams and in her coaching promotes the importance of a leader‘s level of intention to create a sustainable worklife design. In her workplace mental health advisory consulting, Kate leverages evidence-based frameworks and tools to measure, design interventions and evaluate impact.
