David Day
David is a consultant, mentor and speaker who supports businesses with strategic and people needs. He specialises in professional services firms and combines a people centric approach and extensive commercial experience to find practical solutions for his clients. David is particularly passionate about speaking on topics impacting the legal profession, mentoring people moving into leadership positions and enjoys playing a key role in development centres.
David’s experience draws on over 35 years working as a corporate/M&A lawyer with a major international law firm. In that role, he led the firm’s relationship with some of its largest clients and, as a result, built up deep expertise in developing and managing client relationships in a highly competitive and challenging professional services environment. David was also heavily involved in the firm’s recruitment, training and leadership programmes, mentoring many senior associates and junior partners and supporting their career development, and also playing a major role in a senior associate development programme, a key milestone on the road to partnership.
